WORKING
Capture and polish
- Display and window capture on macOS, with optional microphone and webcam
- A searchable recordings library — saved on stop, then reopened, duplicated, renamed, revealed or deleted
- Timeline with trim handles, split, removing sections from the middle, and global playback speed
- Crop with free and fixed aspect ratios, padding, corner radius and shadow
- Camera bubble with shape, size, border and glass styling, in a corner or dragged anywhere on the recording
- Redaction boxes, burned into the exported pixels rather than drawn over them — fixed, or following something as it moves, or a spotlight that dims everything else
- Movable, individually coloured annotations — arrows, boxes, ovals, text and numbered steps — each able to appear and leave at its own time
- Browser and phone device frames around the recording
- Your edit is saved as you work and restored when you reopen a recording, with undo
- Screen capture that leaves the mouse pointer out, so the pointer in the finished video is drawn rather than recorded — smoothed, resized, and pressing on each click
- Cursor tracking, driving optional auto-zoom and a cursor highlight
- Optional click-triggered punch-ins, with explicit macOS Accessibility permission
- Optional keystroke overlay — off by default, marked while recording, and macOS keeps password fields out of it; the badges' placement, typeface, entrance motion and colour are all adjustable
- A first-run screen stating every permission macOS gates, and what refusing each one costs
- Manual zoom keyframes and automatic silence removal
- Multiple saved recordings appended to one ordered timeline and exported as one file
- Signed-update support, dormant until a public HTTPS release feed is configured
- A local diagnostic log for operational errors, never recording content or sent anywhere
- 181 background presets, and MP4, WebM or GIF export that runs on-device
